irishmurr > We're passing around the respiratory bug that's out there and that, together with the fact that it was "crazy cold" outside, left me totally wiped out today. So I thought one of these shots of my flowers from last summer might make me feel better ... and it did. :-)

I did also adjust it a little and added the frame with smugmug's picnik tool today, so hope that counts as my daily. (March 3, 2009)

irishmurr > Johnny's been practising his "I'm so frightened!" look for Halloween night. (October 4, 2008)

"Hold on, man. We don't go anywhere with "scary," "spooky," "haunted," or "forbidden" in the title."

irishmurr > Maeve is ready for spring.

.... just another Maeve shot. I need some more photos for my next birthday project. ;-)

"No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow."
   ~~ Proverb

Funny story about this shot: yes, when I saw Maeve in this outfit I remembered I had these two flowers and thought: photo op. The flowers were actually closer to Maeve when I started taking the shots, but then Jack Jack the Fighting Cat began gnawing on them and was pulling them off to his lair. So I took a couple quick shots before they were entirely gone! :-)
irishmurr > Here's a night shot -- Murray style.

It was dark out but that didn't stop Larry from shining up his ride, or me sneaking out to take a photo of him doing it. (November 13, 2009)

"Night time is really the best time to work. All the ideas are there to be yours because everyone else is asleep."

irishmurr > Today it's Johnny's turn to be my daily. You've seen more photos of Maeve lately because, when you sit Maeve down in a spot, she stays there. John William on the other hand .....

I did manage to catch him in a quiet moment -- which I thought I'd share. You'll never believe how much I absolutely adore this handsome young man. (June 10, 2009)

"Between the innocence of babyhood and the dignity of manhood, we find a delightful creature of a boy."

irishmurr > It was getting close to my bedtime and I was without a daily -- until I spotted the candy left over from Halloween. (November 2, 2009)

irishmurr > Just another flower shot. (February 17, 2009)

irishmurr > My original plan for today's daily was a shot of Maeve, until I found out our little lady was down with a cold. So instead of coming over to see us, she stayed home where it was nice and warm -- which meant no photo op today.

But luckily, I just happened to have a spare shot from the other day. :-)

"There's just something about a Teddy Bear that's impossible to explain. When you hold one in your arms, you get a feeling of love, comfort and security. It's almost supernatural."
   ~~ James Ownby
irishmurr > I am not ready for snow.

The east side got it worse than us today, but I imagine our turn is coming. And yes, the little white streaks in the shot are hail-like "flakes" that started just as I bundled myself up to go outside to take this shot ..... the story of my life. :-)

"Nature has no mercy at all. Nature says, "I'm going to snow. If you have on a bikini and no snowshoes, that's tough. I am going to snow anyway."
