irishmurr > Dinner out with the hubby.

We don't eat out a lot but today we were running errands and had all those gift cards from Christmas .... so it seemed like the thing to do. Ahhhhh, it was wonderful. (June 11, 2009)

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”

irishmurr > Johnny's birthday party was a huge success! (February 21, 2009)

"Birthdays are nature's way of telling us to eat more cake."

irishmurr > Today was our 24th anniversary. (August 4, 2008)

irishmurr > I'm sure you all know what's happening one week from today ..... and you know the Murrays will be enjoying a pint or two with loads of family and friends. ;-)

Here's a tidbit about this particular Great Lakes beer: the dashing gentleman pictured on the label is the grandfather of the Conway brothers, owners of the brewery. He was a Cleveland policeman, who came here from County Mayo. Perfect for their Irish ale, don't you think?

Slainte to all our friends here on Smugmug! (March 10, 2009)

The ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships, are friendships,
And may they always be."

   ~~ Henry Beston
irishmurr > Maeve was happy when tummy time was over.

I had her on the floor, and she was lifting her head up and down, up and down -- but looks happy here that she could just relax. Think I was working her too hard? ;-)

"Whenever I feel like exercise, I lie down until the feeling passes."

irishmurr > It's October 5th and I'm just beginning to do my fall decorating? Where does the time go? (October 5, 2009)

"Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday."

irishmurr > We're going to try this one again tomorrow .....

Maeve was grabbing for the bunny, so we had to move it out of her reach -- then she was reaching for me -- and then she finally noticed the grass and almost tumbled out of her basket trying to get it. Looks like she's learning things from her cousin Johnny. :-)

And I have to mention her adorable bunny hat. Maeve's other grandma has been crocheting hats for her since before she was born, so for Maeve's very first Easter grandma made a special one with bunny ears! (April 3, 2009)

"You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance."
   ~~ Franklin P. Jones
irishmurr > My trusty Photo Assistant Larry is always on the look-out for photo ops for me and when he heard there was an orchid show at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, that's where we headed. (March 29, 2009)

"Flowers really do intoxicate me."
   ~~ Vita Sackville-West
