irishmurr > My Rebel XT came back from repair today, so I was trying it out with some flower shots when I got the call: Johnny has decided to walk! He's taken a few steps before, and was walking as long as he could hold on to something, but today he was walking back and forth, back and forth .... well, you get the picture. This is just a family snapshot, but it was an exciting day around here, so indulge a grandma and let her brag! irishmurr > Last night I went next door to watch our neighbors' daughters so Mom and Dad could go to the baseball game, and the girls decided to give me a complete make-over. Five year old Ava did my hair, while seven year old Ashley did my make-up. I had pink eyeshadow, pink lip gloss and way, way too much blush, because Ava declared I looked like a red beaver when they were done! Oh, and I got a manicure (complete with glitter) too! Tonight is a little more quiet -- just relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine and the fact that it is April 16 ..... the day after April 15.
