irishmurr > Our baby is growing up!

John William had his first haircut. The spoon was to keep him happy and occupied during the ordeal. Our little man likes to eat, and feels more secure with an eating utensil in his hand. ;-)

irishmurr > This was actually taken yesterday, although it could have been taken today since the schools were closed because of all the snow we got over the weekend.

And, btw, I used my clone stamp tool for the very first time and cloned out a tree that was "sprouting" out of Michael's head. It took a few tries, but I finally figured it out! (March 10, 2008)

irishmurr > These are a few of my favorite things.

It was another scorcher and I took lots of adorable pool shots of the kids splashing, but this one caught my eye. I love nothing more than sitting, relaxing under the gazebo in our very small slice of nirvana, with my plants, my rocking chair, surrounded by my family and, of course, that adorable little man. Life is good.

Gotta put down the camera now because Johnny is trying to make an escape -- back to the pool! (July 18, 2008)

irishmurr > Yesterday's photo was part of the new portion of the building where I work -- if you consider something 18 years old new! ;-)

So today I'll show you part of the old portion of the building: the portico of the Public Square entrance of the Terminal Tower (formerly known as the Cleveland Union Terminal). To the left in this shot, there are murals painted in the archways. I tried to get some decent photos of them, but ended up with this one as my daily photo, because I love this ceiling! irishmurr > On this, the day before St. Paddy's Day, I give you a shamrock.

Luckily, shamrocks grow year-round in our house, because we need them for our annual St. Patrick's Day tradition. (March 16, 2008)

irishmurr > Flag Day 2008 -- and you know irish is going to fly the tri-color as well as the American flag!

"The flag of the United States has not been created by rhetorical sentences in declarations of independence and in bills of rights. It has been created by the experience of a great people, and nothing is written upon it that has not been written by their life. It is the embodiment, not of a sentiment, but of a history."
~~ President Woodrow Wilson, who issued the proclamation establishing June 14 as Flag Day
irishmurr > Happy June Everyone!

Michael and Michael (think we need a couple more Michaels around here?) having a great time on the trampoline at Michael K.'s baby sister's baptism party. Whew, that's a mouthful. (June 1, 2008)

irishmurr > SP in the front end of a 1941 Cadillac.

Poker run with the car club .... followed by meeting up with Trisha and Chas to see the Cleveland Cavaliers lose to the Boston Celtics .... quick decision as to which shot to use as my daily .... and then it was off to bed for me! (May 18, 2008)
