irishmurr > Thank you for the much-too-kind comments on yesterday's photo of Maeve and I with our boas and tiaras. :-)

As many of you know, I'm just a busy grandma who enjoys photography as a hobby. There are plenty of days when I'm tired and not in the mood to pick up the camera, but when I browse through all the interesting and creative photos on the dailies, suddenly that all changes. So thank you for keeping me inspired, and for all of your suggestions and pointers. I started here for the photography, but stay for the wonderful friendships I've made along the way. I've met some of you, talked on the phone with others, kept in touch by e-mail, on facebook, or simply through our comments back and forth each day. So, to each of you, I give a very Big Thank You! This is definitely a special community and I'm so glad to be part of it. (December 16, 2009)

Actually, this was the first time in days that we had seen the sun and when I noticed it shining on my Santa .... well, seemed like a sign that this should be my daily. :-)
