We're now the proud grandparents of three -- one granddaughter (MacCaila) and two grandsons (John and Colin). As you can tell from these photos, we're definitely enjoying being grandparents!
When we learned we were going to be grandparents for the first time, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that we would be called Daideo and Maimeo by the grandkids -- which are Irish terms for grandfather and grandmother. Being proud of our Irish heritage, it seemed fitting that our wee little ones call us by the Irish names!

We had oldies playing on the stereo during the Murray Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza 2004, when Larry and MacCaila decided they'd rather dance than carve. And, of course, Mac continues the time-honored tradition of children riding on their grandpa's feet when it's time to dance. (October 2004)
