This is a picture of two of Carole's great grandmothers: Nancy Cordelia Stinnett (Large) (Eslinger) and Alice McMahon (Maddron). It was taken at her grandparents' home the day her grandmother (daughter of Nancy and daughter-in-law of Alice) was giving birth to her sixth daughter: February 11, 1942. A photographer had come by the house and took pictures of several of the family members. It seems they took turns coming outside and standing by the house to have their picture taken.
