They moved "back home" to Tennessee in 1993 and here's a nice shot of Amma, Adolph and Minnie in their home at the foot of the Smokies.

Amma, hairdresser extraordinaire! Here she is cutting grandson Craigie's hair. Carole actually never had her hair professionally cut until she was in her early 30's -- because her Mom had always cut it until then! (September 1994)

When it was time to celebrate Amma and Adolph's 20th wedding anniversary, we managed to get all the family together -- along with lots of friends -- for a big celebration! (June 1999)

Amma is a doll collector, so Carole found two dolls -- one named Nancy and one named Alice, which were the names of Amma's grandmothers -- and gave them to her Mom for Christmas. (November 2000)

A Maddron family reunion and six of the daughters of Orville and Beulah Maddron were on hand: Alice, Lola, Shirley, Anita, Amma and Estalena. (August 2001)

Being out in the country, they have a problem with varmints getting into their bird feeders and plants, so Amma has found a way to "discourage" them! (November 2001)

Amma made it onto the local television newscast with the day's "Big Picture." She sent in a photo of herself holding the gigantic Mother's Day card she received from daughter Debby -- and it was chosen to be aired! (May 2002)
