I have a Canon Rebel XT and a EF 28-135mm lens, a EF 75-300mm lens and a EFS 60mm Macro lens (all Canon) -- and no Photoshop. So, what I see is what you get!
I began this as an effort to improve my photography skills and it's turned into a sort of diary of my life, basically because I spend so much time with my family and friends. Therefore, they've become the subject of so many of my photos. It's kind of hard to get out and take photos of other things when you have a house full of kids and grandkids -- not that I'm complaining, mind you. I hope I am still improving at photography. I'm picking up the camera every day -- well, at least most days. I am putting thought into my images and the settings on my camera, etc. Any suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated.
If anyone would like to contact me, my e-mail is irishmurr57@yahoo.com.

Proof that I did actually go outside to take some pictures of the snow that arrived here today. It may have only been on my front porch, but hey, outside is outside. (December 16, 2007)

My husband bought me flowers for absolutely no reason ....... except, you know, it is one week before Christmas. Do you think he's angling for a really nice Christmas gift from me, or should I worry that mine is going to be really awful? ;-)

One of John's top teeth finally popped through and between teething and a cold, he wasn't in a photographic mood today. So here's one I had taken a couple of weeks ago. (December 14, 2007)

Chas and Trish hanging out with the old folks (a.k.a. Larry and I) on Chas' birthday. Yep, thirty-one years ago I gave birth to this charming young man, and it's been a barrel of laughs ever since. Well, except maybe those teenage years ...... ;-)
