Look what arrived -- conveniently just a few weeks before Mac's birthday: the latest American Girl catalog! MacCaila said she was circling so many things she wanted, she was probably going to run out of ink in her pen! ;-)

Since we'd gotten several inches of snow on New Year's Day and night, Mac decided she needed to get outside and build a snowman! (January 2, 2008)

We used cookies for the snowman's eyes, nose and mouth, so when we were done with it, the birds could have a little feast! Although I think MacCaila was feasting a little before the cookies even made it to the snowman! (January 2, 2008)

And then it was time to make some snow angels! Mac wanted me down, making angels with her -- but I said if I got down there, I might never get up! ha! She did graciously offer to help me up, but that's not something I wanted the neighbors seeing! (January 2, 2008)
