We bought our house in April, 1989 and it's hard to imagine that we've been here 20 years already. Guess it is true: time does fly when you're having fun!
The keys are ours and we're all ready to move into our new home! (April 1989)

Our house was built in 1928 and is considered a "western bungalow" because it has four bedrooms (three up and one down) and a formal, eat-in dining room, while most Parma bungalows have a couple of bedrooms down and one large room up -- and not much room in the dining area. (April 1989)

Our house in the fall of 2005. Very little has changed from the outside: a new roof and those old shrubs are outta here! Carole's green thumb is obvious in the current shot. And notice there's still a Caddy in the driveway, however! ha! In 1989, it was our '75 Coupe de Ville and now it's our '98 Sedan de Ville. (October 2005)

The summer of 2006 found us installling glass block windows in the basement. (July 2006)

Our livingroom -- the way it was. Brown carpeting, beige wallpaper and a white fireplace -- and kids sitting around eating. (April 1989)

One of the first things to go was the white fireplace. We tried to remove all the old paint -- which was impossible. So Larry spent a weekend meticulously painting each brick back to it's original color -- and even painting the mortar between them grey! (May 1989)

And then it came time to strip all that beige wallpaper off the walls. (March 1990)

We were so tired of seeing all the beige and brown in the house that we painted everything white! (March 1990)
